Research
Gaia Collaborative Medicine and Zinour and Gayle Faullouin have formally submitted a research proposal to the Canadian College of Family Physicians. We are hoping to receive grant funding to begin a three month project with addicted aboriginal youth and the effect of an indigenous drumming program. Using our state of the art brain electrical mapping activity equipment we will be able to measure the electrical activity of the brain before and after intervention. Our hypothesis is that the dopamine levels, as measured by brain voltage, would increase post-intervention.
